Early Spring In Redmond Wa
According to The National Weather Service this 2015-2016 ‘winter’ has been the wettest on record. We made it! With rain like that, when the sun is out, I just feel like being outside. Literally I walked my dog for 2 hours today. He was like— come on woman, I’m ready for my nap.
Thanks to all of the rain fall this winter, the early spring in Redmond WA is beautiful! Maybe that’s just the Vitamin D talk- but it sure lovely outside. Did you get your Vitamin D today?
Early Spring In Redmond
I love this picture. This is my 4 year old- this is a giant tree. This is how big the forest is out here. And yes, YES that is the sun lighting up the side of the trees! Big shot out to the sky today for keeping the clouds away and the sun shining!
You know it’s been a good ‘winter’ when the rain boots (read: ‘the wear everyday boots because it’s raining so much all the time and I’m not exaggerating…..ask the National Weather Service’ boots) are covered in dirt— but at least they aren’t snow boots! No complaining about the rain. Nope….no complaining from us!
Ok, so this tree stump below reminds of what it’s like to have 3 kids. Just sometimes you loose your mind. Other times I look at it and I see the beautiful ciricle of life, new growth born and thriving on the older generations foundation. (and now I miss my grandma…. she had 9 children, I’m sure she felt like she was loosing her mind too). (note: if you are wondering how large this stump is, please look at first picture with the little guy standing by a tree…it’s huge)
Did you make it this far down? I hope so…it truly is amazing in the PNW. Please think about signing up for our news letter and joining us on the ole’ social media. But by all means, get outside and enjoy this beautiful part of the world known as Washington!
